Life in all its fullness

Life can never be abundant unless it has abundant resources. With all the material resources freely available in the world why one cannot live a life in fullness? Our active life in reality has become a sore in itself. We cannot stay quiet without activity. Aloneness is dangerous. To keep one engaged one has to read, stay glued in front of TV or talk or work. The fussy activity of the modern man is not life; it is nervous twitching of his disordered and starved nerves. When animal lack certain vitamins, they will become nervous, jumpy and hysterical. The rush of modern life is not calm, poised sureness rather; it is jumpy hysteria of starved nerves crying out for vitamins of real life. Someone has said that no one commits suicide because he is tired of life but he is tired of a lack of life.
For living a fullness of life we have to learn to live in passive voice the passivity that awakens us to an amazing activity. As a Christian one of the ways to achieve this is to Pray. Pray or be a prey – a prey to fears, to futilities, to ineffectiveness.
